Requirements

  • Aged 20–34 years
  • Matric certificate or agricultural qualification
  • Previous international farming experience
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Valid passport
  • Reference letters for all work experience
  • Able to ride a motorbike (preferred but not compulsory)
  • Physically fit and in good health (medical examination required)

Working Conditions

This is a hands-on dairy farming internship where participants work directly with livestock and modern farming equipment. Interns follow a structured training programme, work in varying weather conditions, and gain practical experience while developing valuable agricultural skills.

Remuneration

Interns receive a competitive hourly wage based on their role and responsibilities, with earnings starting from approximately NZD $23 per hour.

Accommodation

Accommodation is arranged close to the workplace or within commuting distance. Housing costs are approximately NZD $800 per month and are payable once you begin working in New Zealand.
